Ed Huneycutt: Partly Cloudy with a Chance of Enterprise
Synopsis: This could be the Data Center weather forecast for the foreseeable future. Public Cloud, Private Cloud, Hybrid Cloud, Co-Lo, and Managed Services are all in the forecast and depending upon the analyst the probabilities change. Some say the Enterprise Data Center is dead and it’s a cloud or nothing and some still say the Enterprise Data Center will be a central theme. Which weather channel do you find most accurate? Let’s explore three practical examples of the weather over time using an example from Financial Services, Food Services, and Medical verticals to highlight the practical impacts of the Data Center Weather on IT Infrastructure policy and practices. This will highlight that like the weather, how Cloud impacts you depends on many variables, but just like the weather, Cloud connectivity, utilization, and rationalization is a fact of life you have to deal with and prepare for unless you want to walk home in the rain without your umbrella.

Tim Hanline: API-led connectivity with MuleSoft is the next big (data integration) thing
Synopsis: API-led connectivity with MuleSoft is the next big (data integration) thing. Point-to-point integrations are costly and difficult to govern and maintain. API-led connectivity is poised to dominate the data integration market by quickly overcoming point-to-point data integration patterns. With API-led connectivity, companies are building flexible Application Networks, which maximize opportunities for innovation, using categorized and reusable APIs. In our presentation, we will show you how MuleSoft is becoming a dominant player in the API management space. We will describe how API-led connectivity will help your business rapidly innovate and respond to rapidly changing market conditions.
