Step 1

Pause the project

instead of forging on the wrong path. Why? If you don’t know where you are, and if you are unsure about the intended destination, you’re likely to follow the wrong path and fail to meet expectations. Pausing the project will also send a message to your existing team that there is going to be a change in approach and that a project rescue team will be involved.

Understanding the details of your technical and business requirements

At this point, our Project Rescue Team will work with you to gain insight into the desired expectations and outcome. We’ll sit with you to determine the scope of the project as well as which business and technical goals you want to achieve while still staying within your budget.

Get your current team on side

Hopefully, your existing team understands that the project isn’t going according to plan and that you need to get the project successfully finalized. In our experience, your current team may initially fear any meddling in their work. However, they’re eventually relieved that they have more hands-on-deck to shoulder the burden. These are done to determine the distance between the current reality and the desired outcomes/expectations as well as plan the useful work that needs to be done to bring the project to successful completion.

The plan will include realignment of project deliverables and milestones for successful project completion and launch

Development and testing

Project momentum is restored, and the health of the project is monitored on a day-to-day basis ensuring that quality assurance, security, regular progress reports, and updates are made to ensure that the project is ahead of the curve. Test releases are also done to ensure that there is stakeholder trust that the solution is coming together well

Launch and support

The launch of the software is planned, and if ongoing training, support, and maintenance are required, then it is provided as agreed upon.
